VoIP Logic Releases Latest Version of Cortex® OSS with API for DID Management and Other Key Enhancements

Service Provider Partners Gain More Provisioning Flexibility and Control

VoIP Logic, provider of technology platform and expertise to VoIP Service Providers, has released a new version of its proprietary Cortex software intended to increase ease of administration on the Company’s Platform-as-a-Service infrastructure used by more than 30 Service Providers to deliver Hosted PBX, Unified Communications and other next generation communication services. Cortex – VoIP Logic’s proprietary software integrated with BroadWorks® and other telephony sub-systems - is a standard part of all deployments.

Cortex OSS version 3.4.8 includes several enhancements that add to the existing utility of the software as an administrative portal. These include:

  •     SOAP API for DID provisioning
  •     Configurable external links for multi-portal access management from within Cortex
  •     Emergency services (E911) provisioning with programmatic access to 911Enable and dash (Bandwidth.com)
  •     Enhancements to bulk provisioning
  •     International DID support
  •     Support for BroadWorks release 19.1

While VoIP Logic is committed to offering best of breed technology as part of its VoIP infrastructure - including other OSS - Cortex is able to fill gaps in administration, provisioning and reporting as identified by VoIP Logic and its service provider partners.
