Former Google and WizeCommerce Veterans to Lead Sales and Business Development for Global Leader in Partnership Performance Marketing

Performance Horizon Group (PHG), the leading provider of partnership performance marketing solutions for enterprises, today announced the hiring of Jim Robinson as Vice President of Sales, North America, and Erik Hom as Vice President of Business Development to further drive the company’s rapid expansion. PHG operates a world-class platform that enables large brands and other consumer-facing enterprises to manage all of their online performance marketing partnerships, including seamless on boarding, real-time data capture and optimization, and settlement in virtually all currencies around the world.

As Vice President of Sales for North America, Jim Robinson will be building an enterprise sales force from PHG’s new Chicago office. Robinson joins PHG with extensive experience in selling and supporting marketing technology solutions to Fortune 500 customers. Robinson was most recently Head of Sales and Operations for Google’s affiliate network, where he oversaw new advertiser sales and account management teams.

“Having worked for one of the largest companies in the performance marketing space, it was very easy for me to understand the enormous value that PHG’s SaaS performance marketing platform brings to major brands and other enterprises looking to optimize their online partner networks,” said Robinson. “I have been truly impressed by the robust functionality of the platform, including real-time data capture and reporting and settlement to partners across virtually every country around the world.”

Erik Hom will work out of PHG’s San Francisco office and will develop partnerships, which leverage the PHG platform. Hom brings more than 17 years of experience in online partner referral marketing both as an affiliate and merchant. Most recently, Hom was Senior Director of Business Development for WizeCommerce (Nextag), where he was responsible for partnerships, the affiliate program, and new business development. Hom previously developed performance-marketing platforms and consulted for start-ups such as, as well as large traditional brands such as Ticketmaster, Williams-Sonoma and Gap.
