Plow & Hearth Adds Two New Garden Tool Collections
Madison, VA (PRWEB) February 12, 2014 -- Plow & Hearth, a trusted national catalog, retail, and internet company specializing in unique, enduring home and lifestyle products, recently announced the addition of two new garden tool product lines within their yard and garden collection. Gardeners and outdoor enthusiasts can now choose between their Classic Wood-Handled design and their Lightweight Ergonomic design for their garden tool needs.
The company’s exclusive easy-gardening tools are built for heavy-duty use and made to last, year after year. Plow & Hearth has designed two styles of tools to allow gardeners to choose their perfect tool for their gardening and health needs.
“Spring is right around the corner and it is a great time to get out and invigorate yourself in the garden,” said Rich Koval, VP of merchandising for Plow & Hearth. “Getting rid of the winter cobwebs to plant gorgeous flowers and shrubs will be much more enjoyable using the right garden tools designed for you.”
The Classic Wood-Handled Garden Tools product line features a trowel, weeder, transplanter, cultivator, garden ford, garden spade, and round point shovel. The tools are crafted with high-quality, long-lasting materials, including solid ash wooden handles and hand-polished, rust-resistant stainless steel heads. The classically designed handle is comfortable to hold in the hand; keeping with a classic wooden design that gardeners and farmers have been using for decades.
The Lightweight Ergonomic Garden Tools are designed for those who love to garden, but their bodies seem to ache after they complete the beautification of their garden. The ergonomic tools are designed to reduce user fatigue, designed to work with the user, not against. Unlike the Classic Wood-Handled tools, the Lightweight Ergonomic design features a gently curved design that reduces strain on wrists, elbows, shoulders, and the back.
The Lightweight Ergonomic Garden Tools product line features a trowel, weeder, transplanter, cultivator, long cultivator, draw hoe, and bow rake. The short-handled tools feature a finger-grip style handle made out of polypropylene and a durable no-rust aluminum head. The long-handled tools have powder-coated steel handles with polypropylene mid and end grips and super-durable carbon steel heads.
“Gardening tools are meant to help you in the garden; not cause strenuous pain,” said Rich Koval, VP of merchandising for Plow & Hearth “Both of our new designs feature high quality, dependable, and durable designs. And we guarantee it; all of the tools were tested by us and we wouldn’t want to use poorly-made tools while we garden!”
