Lazy Dog Cookie Co Teams Up with Non-Profits for a Good Cause
Ballston Spa, NY (PRWEB) February 12, 2014 -- The Lazy Dog Cookie Co Inc. has chosen to partner with the Mohawk Hudson Humane Society, Animal Protection Foundation (APF) and Homes for Orphaned Pets Exist (H.O.P.E.), local non-profit organizations that provide care to animals in need.
Lazy Dog will be donating their gourmet dog treats every time a dog is adopted from one of these organizations. The dog bakery will also be providing new owners with a 15 percent discount to their new ecommerce website and matching each purchase with a 15 percent donation back to the shelter.
“We are thrilled about this partnership. Both Amy and I feel deeply committed to animals,” said Keith Augustine, Vice President of Sales for Lazy Dog Cookie Co. “This is our way of giving back to animals in need.”
In January, Lazy Dog launched a new ecommerce website to sell their gourmet dog cookies. Created and designed by Mountain Media, the Lazydogcookies.com domain will deliver Lazy Dog products, news, reviews, and more.
“We really hit the ground running in 2014,” said Augustine. “We love our new website, and our new found partnerships. I know this year is going to bring many great things to Lazy Dog and all of our supporters.”
