Already a popular brand in clothing, DownEast continues to expand its Nevada footprint with the home furnishings side of business.

High-style, low-price retailer DownEast today announced that its new DownEast Home & Clothing store, located in the Silverado Ranch Plaza in Henderson, is now open. While the location is the fourth DownEast store in the state and the third in the Vegas metro area, it is the first here to offer home furnishings and décor in addition to the company’s popular clothing lines.

Along with its private-label furniture, DownEast Home & Clothing carries the DownEast Basics clothing line for women and girls, as well as some of the most popular national fashion brands for women, men and children at well below retail pricing.

To celebrate the new store, DownEast will host an official grand opening event – giving shoppers a chance to enter a “Shopping’s More Fun With Your Friends” giveaway.

“We’re very pleased to be expanding our Nevada footprint,” said Bill Freedman, Vice President of Home Furnishings at DownEast. “The popularity of our clothing here certainly led to our decision to introduce our home furnishings as well. DownEast Home travels the world to find stylish and unique furniture representing today’s trends at affordable prices.”

Freedman added, “Our combination home and clothing stores broaden the DownEast shopping experience. They’ve done well in other states and we’re excited to bring the concept to the Vegas metro area.”

DownEast has three other Nevada stores: a DownEast Basics store in The District at Green Valley Ranch in Henderson; a DownEast Basics store in the Boca Park Fashion Center in Las Vegas; and a DownEast Clothing store at the Outlets at Legends in Sparks (metro Reno area). Known for its “boutique on a budget” philosophy, the company operates 55 locations throughout the West and has a national presence via its online store.
