The Field Museum Announces Partnership with Selection Management Platform, Hireology
Chicago, Ill (PRWEB) February 11, 2014 -- Hireology, the leading selection management platform for distributed enterprises, announced today it has been chosen by The Field Museum in Chicago to improve and simplify the selection process for the museum’s career and volunteer applicants. Providing access to a candidate repository, custom interview guides and verification services such as background and reference checks, this partnership will enable The Field Museum to hire the most dedicated and qualified employees and interns.
"After undergoing a series of trial periods, we ultimately decided to implement Hireology’s selection platform as the backbone of our hiring technology," said Shawn Van Derziel, Chief Human Resources Officer for The Field Museum. Not only can the platform handle our hiring needs, but it will be an invaluable tool for helping us maintain our volunteer and internship applications as well."
As hiring demands have begun to grow, The Field Museum knew it was time to overhaul their hiring process in order to compete with other Chicago non-profits. By partnering with Hireology, applicants now undergo a thorough yet brief application process. From there, hiring managers are able to review each cover letter, resume, and SmartRank survey score to determine which candidates they would like to move forward with. Field Museum hiring managers will also be able to order background checks and reference verification services directly through the Hireology platform. Through this implementation, the goal is to assist hiring managers in simplifying the hiring process while ensuring each new hire is both qualified and upholds the values of The Field Museum.
"We are so excited to announce this partnership with the Field Museum," said Kevin Baumgart, Hireology’s director of business development. "As one of Chicago’s top attractions since 1893, Hireology is here to ensure that through the best hiring decisions, The Field Museum will strive for centuries to come."
