Rick Otton to Deliver Investing Strategies As Brisbane and Gold Coast Real Estate Enters Boom Phase
(PRWEB) February 12, 2014 -- Property investment educator, Rick Otton, has announced open-to-the-public seminars in both Brisbane and on the Gold Coast in February 2014. The one-day seminars will deliver easily implementable strategies for entering the local real estate market, even as the region enters a boom phase.
“Current indicators show that real estate prices on the Gold Coast and in Brisbane are on an upward trend for 2014,” said Mr Otton. “This is encouraging investors who have seen these key Queensland locations trail Sydney and Melbourne - which both experienced property price increases in 2013.”
“Brisbane, in particular, is attracting a lot of attention right now, particularly with first home buyers and fly-in fly-out (FIFO) mine workers. The city’s median price is just $445,000, whereas in Sydney for instance they would be looking at around $700,000,” he continued.
As prices rise in this lifestyle-attractive South-East Queensland region, there remains an impediment to everyday Aussies getting a foothold into the real estate market.
“We know that southern sea-changers are selling up their pricey Sydney and Melbourne homes and buying on the Sunshine Coast, Gold Coast and Brisbane. And we know that in so doing they achieve a superb quality of life with the cash they can pocket as a result,” said Mr Otton. “But for those who are looking to the banks to help them buy, the same old constraints apply.”
“Banks have tightened their lending requirements, with many asking for as much as a 20% deposit on home loan. So people who cannot save this huge amount, and who believe the so-last-century view that the only way to invest in real estate is with the help of the banking system - well, they will continue to be locked out,” he explained. “The strategies that I will share later this month will deliver ‘a-ha moments’ for those who are prepared to think beyond the banks.”
Mr Otton’s one-day Ready Set Boom property investment seminars in Brisbane and the Gold Coast, will provide innovative strategies for those who do not currently own property, do get into the market, and out-of-the-box ways for those looking to broaden their real estate portfolios to include properties in South-East Queensland.
The events are being held in Brisbane on February 21 and on the Gold Coast on February 22. Ready Set Boom National Tour is a Free Event. Register now at http://www.ReadySetBoom.com.au or phone, in Australia, 1300 888 450.
