Australia (PRWEB) February 12, 2014 -- Leading mid-tier accounting group, William Buck has made a number of key appointments across its national network as it prepares to grow its diversified range of services.
The network recently appointed Adam Field as a Business Advisory Director in its Sydney firm, who brings hands-on commercial understanding along with a depth of experience in business advisory, business recovery and banking.
Prior to joining William Buck, Adam served as Chief Financial Officer of a large private construction and property group and led its operational and financial restructure.
Adam’s broad experience also spans over ten years in banking, the founding of a successful retail business and more recently the establishment of the retail speciality at another mid-tier firm.
“Adam is a perfect fit for William Buck. As an integrated full service firm, our focus is on using the right mix of skills and experience to find the best solutions for our clients,” said William Buck National Chairman Nick Hatzistergos.
For Adam, joining William Buck signals a move to a more client oriented role.
“There’s nothing more satisfying than helping someone create, protect and improve their business. The directors at William Buck have the right capability and mindset to do this. Given the firm is on a strong path of growth and innovation, it’s exciting to join at this time,” Adam said.
Adam’s appointment follows that of Terry Lewis and his team of five, who recently joined William Buck’s Adelaide firm. With a background in tax and business advisory, Terry provides a valuable perspective to William Buck’s clients.
“Directors like Terry and Adam who combine a multi-disciplinary approach with commercial expertise are a real asset to our team,” Nick said.
“Increasingly, we find that our successful clients require a full service firm that is committed to servicing their needs and not a ‘silo’ mentality, with offerings built around specific divisions or services. At William Buck, we've found that putting together multidisciplinary teams always fosters more innovative results.”
Expansion across a range of capabilities has been a strong focus of the William Buck group with its Melbourne firm merging with Melbourne based Bell Partners earlier this year, bringing in four new directors across business advisory and audit.
“Having undertaken these initiatives, I am confident that William Buck will achieve double digit growth for 2014. This would be a considerable achievement given the current challenges in the profession and the economy,” said Nick.
