Suarez has been in sensational form for Liverpool helping to drive their bid for Champions League Football in the 2014-15 season and giving them an outside chance of lifting the Premier League crown themselves. The 27-year-old has been clinical in front of goal easily tops the league scoring charts with 23 goals from just 23 appearances.
The Uruguayan joined the Anfield club from Ajax in 2010 for what was a record £22.8m fee and since gone on to be Liverpool’s best player despite courting controversy along the way. Suarez is also a certainty barring injury to play for Uruguay in the World Cup were he will face England in the group stage. He has made 71 appearances at international level, scoring 39 goals for his country and helping to take them to the World Cup in Brazil.
Head of Operations at DSG, Matthew Tait had this to say, “We are extremely pleased to be launching this Facebook page on behalf of the Professional Footballers Association, Suarez is one of the best footballer’s on the planet right now and just seems to get better every year. His attitude this season has been great and he has struck up a fearsome partnership with Daniel Sturridge making them first and joint second top scorers in England. Do go and join the fun on the Luis Suarez PFA Facebook Page. Brendan Rodgers has done a brilliant job this season and Suarez is clearly enjoying himself.”
Jason Hope, Content Manager of DSG believes that this January will not be a let down like previous years. “There have been some great performers this season with Hazard, Toure, Aguero, Ramsey and Negredo playing superbly well but the stats show that one man has been on a different orbit and that man has been Suarez. We are really looking forward to provide some great content on his PFA Facebook page as he continues to impress not only as an individual but also as a great team player for Liverpool.”
