Ponte Vedra, Florida (PRWEB) February 12, 2014 -- MedMasters announced it added its new, proprietary ShoutOut software to benefit recruiters, job advertisers and job candidates in the medical and health care industry.
“I like to describe ShoutOut as being ‘recruiter- and employer-centric,’” says MedMasters founder and CEO, Rick Fromme. “We recently deployed the ShoutOut tool to work in synergy with our advanced search parameters, which allows job advertisers the ability to pinpoint and target specific medical professionals within the vast field of health care and medicine.” Now recruiters and employers have a reliable way to query members based on the requirements of the job, and subsequently send a broadcasted message to a number of candidates who came up in those search results. Recruiters/employers have the flexibility to narrow or expand their search based on the requirements of the type of candidate they are looking for. This advanced search will then produce a list of members who meet the requirements and then the job advertiser can elect to send a ShoutOut to any or all of those members who appeared in that search. Search parameters can be managed based upon membership type — which MedMasters candidates they’re trying to reach such as active or passive job seekers, location (country, state, city), job function (sales, RN, physician, etc.), and specialty (neurology, cardiology, orthopedics, etc.). Conversely, recruiters/employers may also elect to send a message that screens members based on a more broad-based set of prerequisites or job skills.
“Once a job advertiser or recruiter has defined all the necessary parameters, whether it’s general or highly specific, they simply click ‘Search’ to get results for all the members who meet their criteria,” explains Fromme. At this point, they can view the profiles and/or résumés of those who appeared in that search. They can subsequently choose to select all or some of those to whom they want to send a “ShoutOut” message. The message then gets sent as a bulk email to those members, inquiring if they would have interest in a particular opportunity. “This way, recruiters and job advertisers can use ShoutOut as a quick and time-saving application to simultaneously reach all who meet the requirements of an given job opportunity, rather than contacting them one by one. And candidate members included in the ShoutOut message value this because the message is congruent and specific to what they do,” adds Fromme. “This holds true for those who are actively seeking a position as well as for passive candidates, that is, those MedMasters members who aren’t necessarily in the job market but who possess the credentials to qualify them for a given position or opportunity.”
