Stilo Helmet Customization Available Through Apex Performance
Murrells Inlet, SC (PRWEB) March 27, 2014 -- Effective March 15, 2014, Apex Performance has added the Offshore model to their Stilo helmet lineup. Stilo helmets lead both FIA and SA2010 market and offer flexibility while maintaining a clean cabin. Their popularity has soared over the past four years. This popularity is largely due to them being the only helmet offering rally electronics option that include ear muffs wired for sound. The ear muffs are similar to those offered by Bose. This means that the ear bud system is no longer necessary for radio communications. The ear muff system provides a sound quality second to none. However, if a customer specifies they want to continue the ear bud system, the helmet can be built to that specification.

We can build each helmet to our customers' specifications. The radio connection can be placed on either the left or right side of the helmet and the connection is a clean interface. No more P-clamps riveted to the helmet with hanging wires. Stilo provides a seamless integration of radio, air and hydration systems.”
Stilo helmet shells are manufactured in either composite or carbon fiber. The composite helmets are available in the color silver or the traditional offshore boater orange. The composite helmets are all manufactured to the Snell SA 2010 specification. The carbon fiber Stilo helmets are manufactured to either the SA2010 or the FIA8860 specification. All Stilo helmets have an M6 nut integrated into the shell to interface with Head and Neck Restraint Systems. This means no struggling to get under the liner to install the nutwasher.
Apex Performance is one of the few dealers that have been factory trained to build Stilo helmets to their customers' specifications.
