Over the past 5 years, the CSP Today and PV Insider Middle East and North Africa Solar Conference and Expo has established itself as the go-to event dedicated to sharing the exclusive commercial and technical information essential to getting plants and contracts in the top solar markets in the region.

Solar Frontier have already confirmed they will take part in a panel debate on evaluating mono /poly crystalline modules versus thin film modules alongside Sunpower and the Masdar Institute. This is an issue of key importance due to the different performances of these modules in high temperatures and the wide variations in costs. The debate will compare the key metrics such as efficiency, degradation, unit cost, and warranties and share performance data from the Middle East to allow for a more realistic comparison.

MENASOL will see 350+ senior executives from across the financial, legal, development, construction and technology industries assemble to hear over 55 industry leaders and power purchasers including from NEPCO,ONEE, DEWA, KAHRAMAA, MASEN, Solar Reserve, Belectric, SunPower and many more give the practical tips on how to get plants developed.

Managing Director of PV Insider, Matt Carr added: “I am very excited by the line-up of speakers at the event this year. They are from the decision-making bodies in the top markets such as Jordan and combined with every PV EPC company or developer with proven experience of larger installations in the region, it’s an unmissable event for learning and networking''.

Over 55 speakers will gather for the event which looks in depth at the top solar markets including Morocco, Saudi Arabia, Jordan. The conference also divides in two to look at specifically at technical and commercial issues in the PV and CSP technologies.
