Dr Tariq Drabu Encourages His Students and Colleagues to Learn Advanced Surgical Techniques

Dr Tariq Drabu was speaking recently about the specialist training opportunities available to British dentists during 2014. The training is giving dentists the opportunity to learn more advanced surgical techniques. He said, “I would like to encourage my postgraduate students and colleagues to attend as many of these training opportunities as they are able. I will also be attending as many as I can, within my busy schedule. I am a strong believer in continual education and professional development. It is the best way to ensure we maintain a high level of patient care within our dental practices.”

This is a highly specialized area of dental surgery and dentists who are proficient in these techniques are in high demand. I would like to encourage my students and colleagues to consider attending if they feel they would benefit from this additional training. I will be making every effort to attend the courses that I am able to. I feel it is important that I devote some of my time to my own continued professional development, although my practice schedule does not always allow it. Continued education and development ensures I am better able to give my patients the highest quality of treatments, and it helps me to keep my teaching materials extremely up to date and current.”
Dr Tariq Drabu has been teaching graduate and post graduate students for many years. He is dedicated to ensuring the next generation of British dentists are fully equipped to deliver excellent dental treatment, and to maintain the high standards of dental care in Britain.
