New England Food Show 2014 Features First-ever Culinary Cook-Off with Three Local Boston Chefs

The New England Food Show will be held March 16-18, 2014 at the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center in Boston, MA.

The New England Food Show, coming up March 16-18, 2014 at the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center in Boston, MA, will feature it’s first-ever Culinary Cook-off on Monday, March 17 at 3:00pm on the exhibit floor. The trade show, which is the largest foodservice, restaurant and retail food trade show in New England, is sponsored primarily by the Massachusetts Restaurant Association, and partners with other regional retail, specialty and hospitality groups.

The first-annual New England Food Show Culinary Cook-off will host three chefs from the Greater Boston area as they prepare three savory courses in 60 minutes, using secret ingredients chosen by celebrity judges, along with their own signature ingredients and equipment. The 2014 competing chefs are Chef Tim Maslow of Ribelle in Brookline, Chef Steve “Nookie” Postal of Commonwealth in Cambridge and Chef Brendan Pelley of Zebra’s Bistro in Medfield.
