Digital Sports Group launches Daniel Sturridge PFA Facebook page
(PRWEB UK) 14 February 2014 -- Sturridge has been brilliant in front of goal as both creator and scorer and is the highest scoring Englishman in the Premier League in this World Cup year so far. Since joining Liverpool from Chelsea the player's confidence has grown beyond the compare, making him one of the most lethal strikers this season when presented with a goal-scoring opportunity. Sturridge will of course be playing against Suarez at the World Cup in Brazil which surely must be inevitable barring injury.
The Englishman who started at his home town team Aston Villa as a youth player joined Man City first as a senior player in the 2006-07 season where he came to the attention of Chelsea where he spent the next five years of his career. The 24-year-old then moved to Liverpool as a January transfer in 2013 season after getting few opportunities to play at Chelsea. It will be fair to say that the player hasn’t looked back since the move and is a regular first team player at the Anfield club, striking up a formidable partnership with Luis Suarez and helping to lift the team firmly into the top four.
Head of Operations at DSG, Matthew Tait had this to say “Daniel Sturridge is arguably the best striker England has and coming into form for Liverpool can only be good news all-round with a World Cup fast approaching. We are extremely proud of our relationship with the Professional Footballers Asscociation (PFA) and will be producing great content you will not find anywhere else for the official PFA Facebook page for Daniel Sturridge. Fans will also have the unique opportunity to have their say with the prestigious FTBPro PFA Fans Player of the Month award. ”
Jason Hope, Content Manager of DSG believes Sturridge will be playing for England at the World Cup as well as the Champions League next season “The stats don’t lie and tell the story of the best partnership in the Premier League with Suarez and Sturridge being first and second in the top-scorer charts. What is great to see is that many of the goals Sturridge has scored this year have been beautifully crafted, not just tap-ins. We are excited to have been given the opportunity to build and help manage this PFA Facebook page.”
