New York, NY February 2014 (PRWEB) February 14, 2014

How much do you and your mate really know about sex? What do you know about HIV and Sexually Transmitted Infections or Diseases?

This February, The Kenkou Group celebrates love by providing in-home HIV testing and sexual health counseling for couples. Shenekia Loud, CEO of The Kenkou Group, conceived of the campaign in an effort to promote healthier physical and mental sexual relationships. “Along with a physical attraction, two major components of a strong healthy physical and mental relationship are honesty and communication. One would be shocked to know how many individuals in both short and long term relationships know so little information about their sexual partners, HIV status or the benefits of healthy sex. It is my hope that this campaign will be the catalyst for couples to begin having the dialogue that is necessary to achieve a solid relationship while maintaining their health.” Once a couple learns their statuses, they can then engage in an open, honest conversation about sex, and the trained and experienced counselors and clinical specialists at The Kenkou Group will be there to answer all questions, or obtain emergency assistance to assist with a positive HIV result. The clinician who administers the in- home test can immediately move forward with coordinating care. All clinical specialists and educators are licensed in the state of New York and all test results are strictly confidential but must be reported to the NYC Department of Health.

The Kenkou Group is a licensed, bonded and insured healthcare agency based out of Manhattan with a newly developed branch in Florida. Their mission can be comprised into one simple principle: providing superior quality healthcare to its members and the community. The “Let’s Talk about Sex, Baby…” campaign will run throughout the month of February. To schedule an appointment, please call 646.368.7436, or email info(at)thekenkougroup(dot)com for more details.
