Outdoor Rubber Tiles Help Keep Children Safer

These tiles, available in three different thicknesses, provide various “fall-height” protections. Fall height is determined by measuring the distance from the highest playground platform the children will be playing on to the ground. Kids Kushion tiles add a layer of safety for fall heights of six, eight, and ten feet.

Warrantied for ten years, these tiles are durable and designed for years of outdoor use. They are built to allow water to flow through the tiles thereby preventing pooling of rainwater on the surface of the playground flooring.

Unlike loose fill product such as rubber chips, wood chips, or sand, these tiles provide a consistent fall height rating and are not affected by children playing. They also make it impossible for foreign objects to hide in the safety surface the way some materials do. Unlike the popular poured-in-place rubber option, these tiles can be replaced as they become individually worn.

Kids Kushion tiles can be installed permanently with a heavy-duty adhesive or temporarily with the use of clips. ADA ramps are also available. This makes the playground more accessible to children in wheelchairs.
