On Friday the 28th of February guests can enjoy a fantastic themed gala night, with the theme being ABBA tribute.

The Abba Gala Night will include fantastic entertainment such as a show from one of the Uk’s leading Abba Tribute acts ‘Abba Girls’, where guests are encouraged to dance the night away.

The Abba Tribute Gala Night will start with canapés on arrival, which guests can enjoy whilst enjoying getting to socialise and make new friends.

With an optional 70’s dress code for the evening, guests are guarantee to have a night which is full of fun, good food, drinks and fantastic live entertainment.

Ticket for the Abba Tribute Gala Night cost just £24.95 per person and includes arrival canapés, three course gala dinner and half a bottle of wine to enjoy.

The evening will take place in the hotels own restaurant, which is renowned locally for its beautiful décor, fantastic menu choices and fresh produce.

On the night guests can enjoy a three course gala dinner menu, which includes a choice of three sumptuous starters which consist of;

  •     King prawn and smoked salmon vol-au-vent with a classic Marie Rose sauce
  •     Chicken liver parfait served with a homemade chutney and melba toast
  •     Garlic mushrooms with a garlic mayonnaise and dressed leaves

The 70’s theme continues on into the main course which includes such culinary delights as;

  •     The Park fish pie served with steamed green vegetables
  •     Coq au vin served with mashed potatoes and a red wine jus
  •     Sesame coated halloumi served with balsamic roasted vegetables

Finally the menu provides three delicious and decadent themed puddings including; Swedish apple pie with vanilla ice cream, sherry trifle and profiteroles drizzled with hot chocolate sauce.

After dinner guests are encouraged to visit the bar and enjoy the fantastic selection of drinks that are available.

Bar staff at the hotel are even creating some extra special Abba themed cocktails especially for the event.

Enjoy such delights as the super trooper which mixes vodka, Cointreau, fresh lime and cranberry juice.

If you are feeling indulgent then why not tempt your taste buds with Champagne laced with crème da cassis.

The hotel has fantastic surrounding public transport links, however if any guests would like to take the opportunity to sample the fantastic overnight accommodation then it costs just £85 per room based on two people sharing.

Within the rooms guests can take advantage of the wonderful tea and coffee making facilities, Wi-fi and flat screen television.
