A cataclysmic snow event is on the way. - Sun Valley HeliGuides
Sun Valley, ID (PRWEB) February 13, 2014
Sun Valley has had good skiing and snowboard conditions most of the winter despite the drought conditions which had gripped the west, but a massive system of weather dumped a 25” blanket of fresh snow on the resort over four days. This development has turned the entire mountain on with the bowls and glades all now skiing very well.
The National Weather Service has a winter storm warning issued for the area through the weekend predicting up to 20” of new snow for Baldy. Sun Valley Heli Guides have been keeping an obsessive eye on the weather and are forecasting a “cataclysmic snow event” citing the perfect combination of moisture levels and winds aloft as an alignment of conditions which should bring an abundance of snow to the area in the coming days.
Sun Valley is offering a wide variety of specials and deals from Stay and Ski Packages starting at $65 per person/per night, rooms from $109 per night, boarding pass specials, and Kids 15 and Under Ski Free with a qualifying accommodation reservation.
