The Waldorf Center for Plastic Surgery would like to remind the public to only trust Botox® Cosmetic that is ordered either directly from Allergan or an authorized Allergan distributor.
Recent press in the Portland area has identified the use of fraudulent BOTOX® Cosmetic at some local physicians' offices in the Portland and surrounding areas. Kathleen Waldorf, MD, FACS of The Waldorf Center for Plastic Surgery would like to state that, “We purchase BOTOX® Cosmetic through Allergan directly and not through a distributor or other online resource, as patient safety is of paramount importance to us. The use of Illegal imported product may pose a safety risk to patients and is punishable by the FDA, potentially resulting in the loss of a license, fines, and jail time.”
You can verify authorized Physician offices online at http://www.botoxcosmetic.com. Please feel free to call our office with any additional questions as well at (503) 646-0101.
