Tickets to this year’s Monster Jam tour continue to roll with top trending ticket sales across the country, stated Marta Ault at Sponsored by Advance Auto Parts, this year’s 94-city trek still has 266 events left in the flatbed with shows set for Memphis, Worcester, Rosemont, Hampton, Roanoke, Cleveland, East Rutherford, Albuquerque, Salt Lake City, Pittsburgh and Oklahoma City this weekend.

Popular Monster Jam trucks stand 12-feet tall, weigh 10,000 pounds and fly through the air with the greatest of ease. Plus they race, spin, flip, fly - and often crash and burn in spectacular fashion.

Holy horsepower, Monster Jam is on a roll. But then, that may be a no-brainer considering the hard-driving, heavy-traffic, car crazed world we live in today.

In fact, based on box office stats, there are literally droves of diehards who are irresistibly drawn to witnessing 10,000-pound trucks fly through the air with the greatest of ease – smashing, crashing, racing, spinning and popping wheelies around the track... not to mention leaping rows of mashed up school buses in a single bound.

In fact, tickets for this year’s high-octane 94-city nationwide tour continue to trend at the top of sports events around the nation. This weekend, the tour ramps up in Memphis, Tennessee; Worcester, Mass.; Rosemont, Illinois; Hampton and Roanoke, Virginia; Cleveland, Ohio; East Rutherford, New Jersey; Albuquerque, New Mexico; Salt Lake City, Utah; Pittsburgh, Penn. and Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

The nationwide competitions culminate with the Monster Jam World Finals in Las Vegas every year, with this season’s finals set for Sam Boyd Stadium March 20 - 22, 2014.

“Online traffic for Monster Jam tickets has been hitting very high RPMs since the tour took off earlier this year,” said Marta Ault at online ticket marketplace “The event’s popularity grows each year as new trucks and competitors join the tour.

“That’s why we’re proud to be able to offer them the most comprehensive and continuously refreshed selection of tickets online, with a worry-free guarantee to protect their purchase,” added Ault.

“To access the continuously updated selection of Monster Jam tickets we have available, fans can go to and search for Monster Jam – then select their tickets.”

Monster Jam is a live motorsport event tour and TV series sponsored by Advance Auto Parts and operated by Feld Entertainment. The series is sanctioned under the United States Hot Rod Association (USHRA) and takes place primarily in the states.

Although individual event formats can vary greatly based on the “intermission” entertainment, the main attraction is always the monster trucks facing off in the racing and freestyle competitions. Side-by-side racing is done in the traditional format, where the first truck to cross the finish line moves onto the next round until it is eliminated or wins the Championship race.

The Freestyle competition gives drivers 90 seconds, plus a 30 second bonus period, on an open floor to show off their skills as they drive over cars. Drivers perform stunts and tricks that make these massive high-horsepower vehicles appear to dance gracefully across the track. The winner is determined by three judges who give the driver a rating out of a possible score of 10. These numbers are then added for a total tally.

There are two winners from both events. However, if the same person who won racing that night also won Freestyle, then they get the Double Down trophy, named after the Double Down activities in the Las Vegas Monster Jam World Finals.

In the smaller shows, there is a wheelie competition or a donut contest, and sometimes both. The goal in the wheelie competition is to hit a ramp and get big air while remaining perpendicular to the ground. In the donut competition, drivers try to spin their trucks until they get dizzy, the truck can't go any more, or they think they have a good enough score to win. (Source:
