Local Grand Junction, CO Jewelry Designer/Owner Jo'ellie Boutique Invited Backstage - GEORGE JONES TRIBUTE - to Showcase Jewelry Line; Stay-at-Home Mom Goes Nashville
Grand Junction, CO (PRWEB) February 26, 2014 -- Kathleen's jewelry designs are rustic yet feminine incorporating wire wrapped semi-precious gemstones with vintage elements. Jo'ellie Boutique caters to brides looking for rustic bridal jewelry and unique bridesmaid sets to go with their country wedding theme. Kathleen also creates custom jewelry for customers who want pieces based on their personality or favorite stones.
The George Jones Tribute seemed to be the perfect match for the Jo'ellie jewelry line since classic country music had always been a part of Kathleen's life. "I grew up singing Patsy Cline and all the country music classics with my Grandmothers whom I named my shop after, Jo' Alice and Eloise," Kathleen says. "Most times while I'm wire wrapping upstairs, I have all of these entertainers from the Tribute playing in the background. It was a true blessing for me to be able to share my designs with them, as they were a huge part of my inspiration in the first place."
Country music definitely returned the love with an overwhelming positive response to Jo'ellie Boutique designs. To name a few, Lorrie Morgan, Kathy Mattea and Thompson Square's, Shawna Thompson, can all be seen in photos at the event wearing Jo'ellie jewelry that they loved. Opry music legend, Jeannie Seely, has worn Jo'ellie Boutique's wire-wrapped vintage and stone chunky necklace twice to date while performing on The Grand Ole Opry stage. There is also talk of Kathleen's jewelry line possibly being worn by a lead actress in an upcoming country music video of an artist to be revealed at a later date.
The male entertainer's wives are now big Jo’ellie Boutique fans as well. Up and coming male country powerhouse, Eric Lee Beddingfield (ELB), had the honor of performing, "The Gospel According to Jones"- at the Tribute, a song he wrote and previously recorded with George Jones. He made Jo'ellie jewelry a family affair, bringing his wife, Jessica and mother, Bev., backstage after meeting Kathleen the day before. "I was so thankful I got to meet this sweet family," Kathleen shares. "They were all so supportive and down to earth." On the hard rock side, the lead singer of Megadeth, Dave Mustaine’s wife, Pamela, was quoted as saying about her new Jo’ellie necklace, “I love it so much I’m going to sleep in it!”
Jo’ellie Boutique has recently been accepted as a vendor into the web-based rustic wedding guide in conjunction with the popular website, Rustic Wedding Chic. Kathleen's website is definitely filling a style gap for country brides. “I call them my brides in boots,” Kathleen laughs. “There are very few choices when it comes to jewelry that complements a rustic wedding theme. When I see a picture of a country wedding, I just wish I could put some of my stone necklaces on those bridesmaids!” Jo’ellie Boutique will soon be offering a Men’s Collection as well, including wire wrapped stone hat bands. The new designs will integrate elk ivory and antler bone into the wire and stone designs. This collection will go hand in hand with Jo'ellie's bridal and bridesmaid sets.
Kathleen was incredibly honored to have had the opportunity to meet George Jones wife, Nancy, at the Tribute. "This was a memorial celebration in honor of George Jones, and was a very emotional and personal event. I was so thankful and humbled to have been able to be there," Kathleen states.
Since The George Jones Tribute, Kathleen Brady has been watching Jo’ellie Boutique evolve from a hobby shop into a promising business full of possibilities. “I’m very grateful for the confidence this amazing experience has given me in myself, and in my creativity,” Kathleen says. “I’ve always been encouraged to follow my heart, and I’m excited to see where it will lead me next!”
The future looks bright for this small town lady with big dreams.
