The situation may on the surface appear gloomy for investors and first home buyers, but that is only if you continue to believe that applying to banks for a loan is the only route available.

Responding to recent figures released by the British Office for National Statistics (ONS), property investment authority, Rick Otton, has made available a suite of no-charge downloadable resources to help more young Britons to get into the property market.
The figures relate to the number of young adults, some in their mid-30s, who are living with their parents in their family homes, often due to their inability to save for a deposit for a home loan.
"According to the ONS, in 2013 there were 3.3 million 20-34 years living with their parents in the UK," said Mr Otton. "Rising house prices and increased unemployment rates are two of the contributing factors to this situation, but the tightening of the lending policies of banks has also played a part."
Many traditional lenders – the banks – are demanding deposits of at least 25 percent, making home ownership for everyone, not just young adults, seem like an impossible dream."
The ONS report revealed that back in 1966, a typical first-home buyer needed to save 2.7 times their salary to be in a position to buy a home. That figure, in 2013 was 4.47 times.
"The situation may on the surface appear gloomy for investors and first home buyers, but that is only if you continue to believe that applying to banks for a loan is the only route available," said Mr Otton. "For over 20 years I have been teaching people in the UK, and Australia, easy-to-learn strategies to buy and sell homes, regardless of the economic cycle, and without the involvement of banks."
"I’m now making freely available, by download, my Power Property Profits Pack, which will help both aspiring and experienced UK real estate investors to understand that there are different, non-traditional ways to invest," Otton continued. "The techniques I use are tried and tested, and are being used by thousands of creative thinkers all around the world."
