Gregorian Oriental Rugs Introduces The Mill at Newton Lower Falls
Newton Lower Falls, MA (PRWEB) February 18, 2014 -- Gregorian Oriental Rugs, premier Oriental Rug supplier in the Greater Boston Area, introduces The Mill at Newton Lower Falls, a shopping destination for home furnishings, locally handcrafted furniture, and a vast array of Oriental Rugs.
Gregorian first moved into The Mill at Newton Lower Falls in 1942, and has been selling imported rugs there ever since. For many years, Gregorian was the only business operating out of the vast mill building, but in recent years they have welcomed two local furniture companies into the space, Furniture by Dovetail and Adriance Furnituremakers. The Mill at Newton Lower Falls now acts as a showroom for these fine brands, and offers a variety of room settings where furniture and rugs are paired together to help the consumer visualize how the pieces would look in a home setting.
Scott Gregorian, 3rd generation of the Gregorian family, said “After 3 generations of selling rugs, Gregorian has brought in handcrafted locally made furniture to enhance our rugs, and to show how they interact with other pieces of furniture and give dimension to a living space.”
With the introduction of The Mill at Newton Lower Falls also comes a new website, to welcome visitors near and far to explore the expansive home shopping collections. You can visit the new website at http://themillatnewtonlowerfalls.com/. Additional changes are coming to The Mill during the spring of 2014.

About The Mill at Newton Lower Falls
The Mill at Newton Lower Falls was built on the Charles River in 1790, to function as a paper mill. In 1942, Arthur Gregorian purchased the mill building, and turned it into Gregorian Oriental Rugs. In the years since, they have expanded the space and their offerings. Today, the building covers more than 40,000 square feet of gallery space, and maintains much of its original architecture, including old wooden beams and wide-plank wood floors. Thousands of Oriental Rugs line the walls and the floors, and locally made furniture is arranged throughout to create functional spaces. Each showroom is set-up to inspire the consumer with bedroom, dining and other home displays.
