Mastering the language of mathematics is a challenge at any age and many people dismiss math without trying to understand it. In Jerold Knoelke’s innovative how-to guide, “Math is Not Mystical,“ he introduces a surefire tool to better understand the language as well as apply it.

“My book provides readers with the steps needed to visualize math and not just the problems to practice,” says Knoelke, “I want people to realize math is a logical structure and that by utilizing my technique, PRESS, it will become clear how math works and can be used to practice building common sense.”

Knoelke’s expertise in the math field led him to craft the five-step process, PRESS, which guides readers to a greater understanding and mastery of the mathematical language. The book also provides insight on how to become a more logical thinker and to ultimately raise the reader’s IQ level.

The goal of the book is to prove to readers that math can be conquered in a light-hearted fashion. By defining and outlining the seven branches of math, Knoelke illustrates how his process can guide readers through any mathematical problem. Knoelke’s added touch of dry humor helps you see that math is not mystical and shows you can lightly address any challenging concept as easily solvable with the simple process of PRESS.
