Flipped Learning Network Announces Program for 7th Annual Conference
Washington D.C. (PRWEB) February 19, 2014 -- The 7th Annual Flipped Conference is scheduled for June 23-25 at Mars Area High School near Pittsburgh, Pa., and worldwide through the FlipCon14 Virtual Conference live stream. This year’s agenda includes three plenary sessions, including panels with K-12 "flipped" parents/students and instructors in higher education; six featured speakers; 48 concurrent sessions; 12 showcases and learning lounges for help desks and small focus groups.
Keynote speakers include Jon Bergmann, Aaron Sams and other co-authors of Flipped Learning: Gateway to Student Engagement, and Molly Schroeder, technology integration specialist at Edina Public Schools (Minn.) and global presenter for Google Education Summits.

Virtual attendees view the plenary sessions and can then choose between six featured speakers and 18 of the 42 concurrent sessions. Eligible sessions will be streamed live and archived for a year.
New this year, the Boot Camp for Beginners provides a primer on flipped classroom basics. The three-hour session (either on Sunday, June 22 or Monday, June 23) will be interactive and based on the needs of attendees. An all-day pre-conference training session covering screen capture software will be held on Monday, June 23.
