CureMD Announces the Passing of Kamal Hashmat, Its Co-founder and President
New York, NY (PRWEB) February 19, 2014 -- Aizid Hashmat, MD, Chairman, as well as the Board of CureMD Healthcare announced the passing of Kamal Hashmat, President, CEO, and Co-founder following a tragic accident. Bilal Hashmat, co-founder and Chief Information Officer has been named as the President and CEO.
CureMD has lost a visionary leader and the world has lost a wonderful human being. Those of us who have been fortunate enough to know and work with Kamal have lost a dear friend and an inspiring mentor. Kamal was considered a pioneer in the health IT industry, co-founding CureMD in 1997. Under his leadership Kamal and his brother Bilal created CureMD as the first cloud-based Electronic Medical Record solution, and as an innovator and award-winning health IT services organization. The Company and its staff extend their heartfelt condolences to the Hashmat family.
