New JH Technologies Partnership Focuses on Surface Metrology
FREMONT, Calif. (PRWEB) February 27, 2014 -- JH Technologies announced a new partnership today with manufacturer cyberTECHNOLOGIES. This partnership enables JH Technologies, which is an optics and microscopy distributor, to focus on delivering the best in high-resolution, noncontact 3D measurement systems throughout the Western United States.
The sales and marketing arrangement will also enable JH Technologies—which has more than 25 years of experience as a major dealer in optical and digital imaging systems—to help grow cyberTechnologies’ market share in the rapidly expanding surface metrology/profiling sector.
“Surface metrology is a growing business and we are proud to include cyberTechnologies in our line of products,” said Mike Meade, sales manager for JH Technologies. “The quality of the organization and the products stands right beside the other great brands we support, including Leica Micro-Systems, Navitar, Hamamatsu, Eppendorf, Lumencor, Marzhauser and others.”
Noncontact 3D measurement—or surface profiling—instruments allow users to profile variations on the surface of microstructures. The instruments are used to verify surface quality in terms of roughness, flatness, coplanarity, and thickness of structures to as fine a measurement as 1 micrometer. Typical applications include thick film profiling, solar cells, wafer flatness, bump coplanarity, and optical surface roughness, but the technology is proving to be extremely valuable across a broad range of application areas. JH Technologies’ CEO, John Hubacz, said cyberTECHNOLOGIES’ products stand out because of the superior speed of their scanning capability, and he is excited to be representing the German manufacturer. “Our customers look at microstructures daily, and we can provide three-dimensional data on each image with our current products, but with their scanning technology, cyberTECHNOLOGIES provides data much faster. Speed reduces cost and allows for more analysis, enabling cost reductions in the production of micro-electronics,” Hubacz said. “We have known the Cyber folks for a number of years and have seen them grow into a technology leader that is customer-oriented, innovative, and just plain smart.”
Karl-Heinz Strasse, North American operations manager for cyberTECHNOLOGIES, said the manufacturer is equally enthusiastic about partnering with as reputable and experienced a company as JH Technologies. “They have technically knowledgeable sales staff filled with scientists and engineers, a great understanding of the market, a highly-trained service staff and an incredible showroom,” Strasse said. “They are the perfect partner to help grow our business.”
