Landmark was head and shoulders above all of the systems we evaluated.
Sanford, FL (PRWEB) February 21, 2014
The Clerk and Recorders office of Wakulla County, FL has signed an agreement to upgrade the County's Official Records technology to the new Landmark system from Pioneer Technology Group (PTG). The conversion will result in expanded public records access, more efficient recording of documents, improved management reporting, and a variety of new online services for the public.
“The Pioneer Technology Group OR system, Landmark, was head and shoulders above all of the systems we evaluated, including Oncore,” said Brent Thurmond, Wakulla County Clerk and Recorder.
The Landmark recording system is dramatically different from the outdated technology currently in use in most counties and register of deeds offices. Internet access is designed around an easy to use interface that has the look and feel of today’s latest smart phone technology. Enhanced features for title companies and the public simplify property searches, save search results, and provide easy to use e-commerce and accounting solutions.
With the new system, clerks and recording staff can multitask and switch seamlessly between departments, tasks, and workstations. Incorporating highly requested features such as tax deed processing and real time productivity monitoring, the system is offered both as a comprehensive N-Tiered structure for the largest of counties, and as a hosted system alternative for counties that prefer not to manage a network infrastructure. The company has also just released "Meet Jill" an animated video providing a quick overview of the system features.
"We're excited to add Wakulla County to the growing number of clerks, recorders, and registers of deeds offices that are selecting our Landmark O.R. system," said Steve Rumsey, President of Pioneer. "Most of the O.R.systems on the market were designed over a decade ago, and have either made cosmetic upgrades or haven't been updated at all. By contrast, the new system architecture and features offered by Landmark have been designed based directly on input from clerks and recorders. Our customers have done due diligence and extensive system comparisons, and we're extremely excited about Landmark and believe this technology represents the future of Official Records Systems."
