The Lucas Oil Midwest Late Model Racing Association (MLRA) and RacingJunk.com are proud to announce a partnership that begins with the 2014 racing season and extends through 2016. While no one wants to win this award, it will help ease the pain for the driver who has the worst luck of the race. Faulty engines, a bad crash, any of the things that can challenge a racer on any given weekend are bound to happen. Each race, the winner will be announced at MLRARacing.com and featured on The Burnout, RacingJunk’s new editorial site. At the end of the season, Racing Junk will also name an overall Hard Luck Award recipient.
