Aveshka, Inc. is pleased to announce that Matthew DeZee, Ph.D., formerly of Cisco Systems, has joined the company as Senior Vice President, leading the Defense and Intelligence Business Unit. In announcing Dr. DeZee’s addition to Aveshka, President and CEO Girish K. Jindia said, “Matt’s understanding of our nation’s security interests will be a tremendous benefit by providing compelling solutions to the DoD and intelligence agencies.”

Dr. DeZee is an accomplished business leader and government executive, holding prestigious roles to include serving as the first Chief Information Officer (CIO) for the State of South Carolina, and as the Director of Information Services Infrastructure (ISI) for the Central Intelligence Agency. Most recently, Matt served as the Deputy, US Federal Sales for the US Public Sector of Cisco Systems, Inc. Dr. DeZee holds a Ph.D. in Political Science, a Master of Science in Criminology from Florida State University and a Bachelor of Science from Utica College of Syracuse University.
