Broach Sports Tours is offering new packages for the 2014 Ryder Cup after selling out all of its original packages, president Tom Broach has announced.
Golf fans can now enjoy all four days of Ryder Cup action while staying at either the Radisson Blu in Edinburgh or the Mercure Hotel in Edinburgh.
Broach Sports Tours, which has been designated as an official reseller of Ryder Cup packages, is sold out of packages at the Carlton Hotel.
“We’re pleased to add the Radisson Blu and Mercure hotels to our various packages,” Broach said. “These are both extremely nice 4-star hotels in ideal locations in the heart of Edinburgh, with the Radisson Blu on the Royal Mile and the Mercure on Princes Street. They make all of our remaining packages very, very attractive.”
Broach Sports Tours is also offering a $300 discount to anyone who registers with a 20 percent deposit before March 3, 2014.
The Ryder Cup is scheduled for Gleneagles Resort for Sept. 26-28, with the opening ceremonies to be held on Sept. 25.
The five-night Blu package includes five nights hotel accommodations at the Radisson Blu; full Scottish breakfast daily; Ryder Cup tickets for Thursday through Sunday sessions; bus transfers to and from Gleneagles daily; welcome reception; Ryder Cup gift bag; Edinburgh city tour and more.
That package is priced at $4850 per person double occupancy or $7450 single before the discount is applied.
