Volkswagen of Corpus Christi has been recognized as the top Volkswagen dealer in the South Central United States for customer satisfaction. Through customer satisfaction surveys collected from 100 Volkswagen dealerships in 16 states in the South Central Region, customers of VW of Corpus Christi have rated them the best of the best in both sales and service.
Having turned the underperforming dealership around during their six-month wait for factory approval in 2010, partners Leo Griggs, Eddie Lee and Luis Perez proceeded to make Volkswagen of Corpus Christi tops in the region. Since 2010 sales have more than tripled, forcing Volkswagen of Corpus Christi to move into a new state-of-the-art dealership to better serve their customers’ needs. They’re now located at 6902 South Padre Island Drive, Corpus Christi, TX 78412.
Like the original 4-acre dealership, the new store also serves the broader Texas Coastal Bend area, where word of mouth is critical to success. When they first took possession, “Customer Satisfaction Scores were at the bottom for regional VW dealerships,” Lee relates. Yet within six months Volkswagen of Corpus Christi had landed the region’s coveted Customer Service Leader Trophy, achieving average Customer Satisfaction Scores near 100% for new car sales and near the industry high in the 90s for service.
So, while today’s recognition may not be a surprise, it’s an honor they take as seriously as they do serving their customers. “With three owners, one of us is always here to make sure our customers are being taken care of,” Lee notes.
The partners take advantage of technology, too. But once they do get there, the statistics say, they’re likely to return.
