Aural Pleasure: Carrie's Story & the Killer Wore Leather Finalists for Audie Awards
Berkeley, CA (PRWEB) February 19, 2014 -- For the first time, the The Audio Publishers Association's Audie Awards are recognizing audiobook excellence in Erotica. With this new category, two Cleis Press titles have made the finalist list: Molly Weatherfield's Carrie's Story, narrated by Shana Savage, and Laura Antoniou's The Killer Wore Leather, narrated by Lauren Fortgang. The new category was added after the success in sales for the 50 Shades of Grey audiobook in 2013. "The first-round judges were enthusiastic about the many quality Erotica submissions that came in, so we anticipate it will now be a regular feature of the Audie Awards,” said Janet Benson of Audio Editions, 2014 Audies Competition Chair. Winners will be announced at a Gala in New York City on May 29, 2014.
