Atlanta, Georgia (PRWEB) February 20, 2014

Aderant, the world’s largest independent legal software company, today announced the hiring of Chris Cartrett as senior vice president of sales. Cartrett will lead global sales and client management activities across Aderant’s 3,200 clients in more than 30 countries. Cartrett joins Aderant with more than 20 years of legal industry experience, including more than 10 years at the executive level. Cartrett previously served at Thomson Reuters as vice president of sales and customer experience for the large law and medium law firm segment.

Chris Giglio, chief executive officer for Aderant, comments, “Our clients will immediately experience the positive impact of Chris Cartrett. We hired Chris because of his extraordinary experience working with senior executives at successful law firms and his visionary expertise on the trends and issues currently occurring within the legal industry.” Giglio continued, “We view every hire at Aderant through the lens of industry experience, client loyalty, and product innovation. I could not be more pleased to have Chris Cartrett join the Aderant team.”

Cartrett commented on his reasons for joining Aderant, “I will forever be grateful for the fantastic teams I worked with at Thomson Reuters. But in looking at the changing business dynamics in law firms and the legal industry, I became convinced that Aderant possesses the technology and people needed to help law firms successfully tackle these challenges.” Cartrett further stated, “Aderant smartly designs its legal software products and technology to keep its clients on state-of-the-art applications without additional charges to move to the latest version. I also evaluated the growth prospects of Aderant and they were vastly superior to all others in the market. Plus, with strong, stable leadership and an impressive staff of professionals, my family and I could not be happier to be part of this team.”

While growing market share Aderant has aggressively expanded product research and development. The hiring of Cartrett occurs as Aderant increases resources for all client facing roles. These new hires are the result of investments in product technology and a response to new client acquisition.
