Financial wellness firm, Four Seasons Financial Education, today announced a new program for benefits brokers and benefits consultants which targets greater employee utilization of flexible spending accounts (FSAs) and health savings accounts (HSAs). Four Seasons has developed a program to work alongside benefits professionals to help them boost employee awareness and utilization.
"We've found the key to success with FSA and HSA utilization is with individual advice," says Four Seasons President and CFP, Travis Freeman. "Education is important, but when you can show an employee how to save $1,200 a year in their budget, this money becomes available for saving," he says. "You just have to open the hood first to find it."
Four Season has found success working with benefits professionals to help mutual corporate clients target decreased costs. FSA and HSA utilization in particular can provide employers with needed payroll tax reductions while also helping employees save for health care expenses. Four Seasons hopes to work with more benefits professionals from around the US in 2014.
