Ficklets, LLC, has recently signed an exclusive distribution agreement with Aviva Optical in Australia. This agreement dramatically increases Ficklets’ international availability.
“We are excited to partner with Aviva Optical, a reputable company with a long-standing history in the optical industry,” said Ros Guerrero, founder and inventor of Ficklets.
Based in Arizona, Ficklets has grown beyond the United State’s borders with online customers from all over the world; Australia, New Zealand, Canada and Europe to name a few. In addition to retailer accounts and distributors in the US, they also have partners in Russia, Denmark, Norway, South America and now Australia.
“We are thrilled to introduce and expand Ficklets in Australia,” Guerrero said. “I feel the best way to expand into a new market is by partnering with a reputable distributor like Aviva Optical. With their market reach, expertise and logistics capabilities, they can expand and strengthen brand awareness and establish strong product placement.”
Growth of the company has been steady since its inception. The eyewear charms are now available for purchase through many domestic wholesalers and international distributors in addition to the Ficklets website.
One of the larger distributors in Australia, Aviva Optical has been in business for more than 30 years and services over 2,500 active accounts. The company differs in that it doesn’t supply predominately optical frames and sunglasses but rather unique products required by the optical industry. Aviva Optical works with suppliers all over the world, including the US, Germany, France, South Africa and Asia.
Ficklets are the first interchangeable eyewear charm hugger, designed to adorn eyeglasses with a fun, fresh twist to help kids feel comfortable in their glasses and make the whole experience more enjoyable. They were patented in the fall of 2009.
