Experienced Staffing Firm Expanding Contract Staffing Services
Alliance, Ohio (PRWEB) February 20, 2014 -- To more fully serve its existing client base, Alliance Technical Services has added the ability to place contractors outside of its home state of Ohio.
Founded in 1981, Alliance Technical Services has established itself as a leading technical staffing and engineering company in Northeast Ohio. The Alliance, Ohio-based firm specializes in direct and contract placements in Engineering, Accounting, and Human Resources.
Clients of Alliance Technical Services have the opportunity to work with recruiters who have experience in the fields for which they are recruiting. They can also feel confident that they are working with a firm that has a long, stable history, said Director of HR and Recruiter Michael Lesch.
“When you look at staffing and recruiting companies, being around 30-plus years with the same ownership structure is something,” Lesch said, adding that the firm was started by the father of the firm’s current President Ryan Klusch. “Having thirty years of experience and continuity of leadership is certainly an asset to our company.”
Alliance Technical Services has traditionally handled contract placements almost exclusively in Ohio, where they operate their own contract staffing back-office. But as their client base has expanded, the firm has found it necessary to expand its services as well to meet client demands. That is the main reason they have decided to start accepting contract job orders outside of Ohio.
“Right now, our primary goal is to make sure we can provide our current clients with everything we can possibly provide to them in a competitive market,” Lesch said. “As we start to identify other opportunities that exist outside Ohio with new clients, we will certainly pursue those relationships.”
Alliance Technical Services is placing its out-of-state contractors through the contract staffing back-office services of Top Echelon Contracting, Inc. (TEC). As the W-2 employer of those contractors, TEC is responsible for timesheet collection and tracking, payroll funding and processing, Workers’ Compensation, Unemployment, tax withholding and filing, invoicing and collections, benefits administration, and more.
“The cost of setting up Workers’ Comp and taxes in other states was previously cost-prohibitive for just one or two contractors,” Lesch said. “With Top Echelon Contracting, we don’t have to go out and find Workers’ Compensation coverage in other states or figure out the unique payroll laws in each state. They even offer contractors a benefits package. It’s a no-brainer.”
