About Dr. Eugene Katz, M.D.: Eugene Katz, M.D. is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology and reproductive endocrinology. He received his medical degree in 1978 from The University of Chile, Magna Cum Laude and was top graduate in his class. Dr. Katz then went on to an OB/GYN residency at Catholic University in Santiago, Chile. In 1981 he came to the United States and completed his OB/GYN residency at Tulane University in New Orleans in 1985. In 1987, he completed a two-year fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology/Infertility at the Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland. Dr. Katz has published over 60 journal articles and serves as an ad hoc reviewer for Fertility and Sterility. He has pioneered the use of the Robotic DaVinci laparoscope for tubal surgery, particularly for outpatient reversal of tubal ligations having performed the first of such procedures in a non-academic center in the Mid-Atlantic area in 2005. Dr. Katz has consistently been named TOP DOC by Baltimore Magazine (2000, 2004, 2005, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010 and 2012) and was recognized as being among the Best Doctors in America®. About Dr. Ricardo A. Yazigi, M.D.: Board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and Reproductive Endocrinology/Infertility, and with more than twenty years of clinical experience, Ricardo A. Yazigi, M.D. received his medical degree from University of Chile, Magna Cum Laude in 1978. He had his residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Sotero del Rio Hospital, Chile and at State University of New York at Nassau County Medical Center, NY. He pursued a Research Fellowship in Maternal-Fetal Medicine at Yale University School of Medicine, CT. and a Fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology at Washington University School of Medicine, St. Louis, MO. He is the recipient of Research Awards both in the United States and overseas and is member of national and foreign Medical Specialty Societies. Dr. Yazigi serves as ad-hoc reviewer for the Journal of Reproductive Medicine, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Fertility and Sterility, American Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology and Journal of Pelvic Surgery.
