Boston, MA (PRWEB) February 21, 2014
Paul Simon soon will serenade Boston with an evening performance at TD Garden, working the crowd with famous top-charting hits and signature guitar riffs. The Boxer, Boston’s newest boutique hotel located in the West End just steps from the Garden, is rolling out the red carpet for their rock ‘n roll-inspired hotel package, The Paul Simon Experience, in honor of Simon’s 1968 ballad, “The Boxer.”
Available exclusively to coincide with the much-anticipated performances, The Boxer’s hotel package emanates rock royalty while paying homage to Paul Simon.
The Paul Simon Experience hotel package includes the following:
o Overnight accommodations for two with a 2pm extended check-out
o Breakfast for two at Finch
o “Drink a little red wine” with an in-room bottle of red wine, inspired by Simon’s lyrics from the 1986 song, “That Was Your Mother”
o A Paul Simon vinyl record
Downstairs at The Boxer’s on-property restaurant and lounge, Finch, there will be a Paul Simon-themed tribute night beginning at 4pm to benefit his charitable organization, The Children’s Health Fund. The event will include four custom-created cocktails – Rhythm of the Saint, Late in the Evening, Boy in the Bubble and Something So Right ($12 each) – where 50% of the specialty sips proceeds will be donated to the organization. During the event, past Paul Simon concerts will be streamed on Finch’s flatscreen televisions and there will also be a raffle for an opportunity to stay a night at The Boxer, complete with two complimentary cocktails and breakfast at Finch, on a future date. (Raffle tickets are $3 for one and $5 for two, with all proceeds donated to The Children’s Health Fund.)
The Paul Simon Experience hotel package is available on the evening of Monday, March 3. Rooms start at $269 per room (based upon double occupancy). The Boxer Boston is located at 107 Merrimac Street, Boston, MA 02114. For reservations, please visit http://www.theboxerboston.com or call 617.624.0202.
