Knomadix announced today their plan to pilot their mobile content learning solution at Wylie ISD in collaboration with Samsung Telecommunications America (Samsung Mobile). This pilot aims to bring leading education, technology and mobility experts together to give educators access to a wide array of interactive learning aides, assessment, and data for seamless one-to-one learning models, shared, or bring-your-own-device trends to improve student outcomes.

Knomadix will deliver an innovative mobile content solution that maximizes the usefulness of tablets in the classroom, resulting in improved student engagement and outcomes. The pilot, featured in both elementary and secondary classroom settings, empowers teachers to create smarter, digital versions of content previously created using whiteboards, notepads, worksheets, maps, diagrams, geometry toolbox manipulatives, flashcards, and other physical learning tools. This interactive content will be integrated with assessments and data for personalized and individual instruction.

Knomadix CEO and Founder, Ramesh Balan, sees the growing mobile learning platform market continuing to change and evolve with teachers needing the ability to customize content just as they have always done in the classroom. “Knomadix gives teachers and content developers not only the power to use traditional tools and content that have always been there in science, math, history, geography, language arts, and other subjects, but also creates a magical experience with smarter functionality on mobile devices. We are pleased and privileged to partner with Samsung Mobile and Wylie ISD to implement this transformative learning solution aimed at improving student achievement levels.”

The pilot will feature the Knomadix mobile learning platform for enabling customized learning aides and interactive classroom content on Samsung Windows 8 ATIV Smart PCs and is part of an expanded technology plan to bring effective instructional tools into the classroom for teachers throughout the district. “When you combine enhanced technology with quality teaching, student performance can be targeted, improved, and individualized,” said David Vinson Ph.D., Superintendent of Wylie ISD. “We are pleased to be a part of this exciting pilot and help lead advancements that benefit every student in Wylie ISD. We encourage teachers to create more content and focus on improved student achievement.”

This pilot, a joint effort between Wylie ISD, Knomadix, and Samsung Mobile, aims to bring leading education, technology and mobility experts together to give educators access to a wide array of interactive learning aides, assessment, and data for seamless one-to-one learning models, shared, or bring-your-own-device trends to improve student outcomes.
