“We are very excited to have Scott join the team at FORTA® Corporation, as we expand our asphalt footprint across the globe,” said Martin Doody, national sales manager for FORTA® Corporation. “His extensive background and industry experience makes him a strong addition to our team of professionals.”

He also provided assistance, direction and oversight to various districts by developing and implementing a comprehensive support program through the analysis of data of many types of materials used in highway construction and maintenance.

Prior to his promotion to section chief, Nazar was the statewide Bridge Maintenance Coordinator providing assistance to all districts on priority bridge maintenance activities.

He also was a senior civil engineer supervisor involved in development and coordination of traffic signal activities and Intelligent Traffic Systems (ITS) projects.

Nazar holds a bachelor’s degree in structural design and construction engineering technology from Penn State University, as well as an associate’s degree in mechanical engineering technology from Harrisburg Area Community College.

FORTA® Corporation, founded in 1978, was the first producer to introduce synthetic fiber reinforcements to the U.S. construction market.
