SLC, UT (PRWEB) February 23, 2014 -- In addition to the increasing need for snow tires with Utah’s winter weather, tire sales throughout the state are expected to rise with the introduction of new rebates and discounts from Burt Brothers Tire & Service. The promotions, which range from $20-$160 discounts on a new set of tires, can be redeemed at any one of the eight Burt Brothers locations in Northern Utah.
The rebates and discounts currently available apply to Bridgestone, Firestone, and Goodyear ties. Those who purchase four select Bridgestone tires at any Utah location can receive an exclusive $70 instant rebate, while those who purchase four select Firestone tires can receive an instant $50 rebate. These two promotions are valid through March 1st. Those interested in purchasing Goodyear tires in Utah can take advantage of various mail-in rebates worth $20-$160.
“We recognize that new tires are a big investment for most families, and we’re excited about offering these rebates as a way to encourage people to not put off purchasing new tires, especially in these freezing winter months when tire performance is so critical for safety,” said Wendel Burt, Owner. “As a company, Burt Brothers is committed to providing our customers with the industry’s best pricing in the first place, and these rebates help to make those costs even more affordable for families.”
The Burt Brothers chain spans from Davis County to Sandy, UT and in addition to new tires, also provides tire repair services along with auto repairs and auto glass. Between all eight locations, Burt Brothers provides services for several thousand customers each month.
“At Burt Brothers, we encourage drivers everywhere to be aware of the state of their tires and to get into the shop before it’s too late, and a worn tire has caused safety issues on the road,” said Burt. “As tire experts, we take pride in helping our customers find the best options for new tires that fit within their budget but that also provide them with the best performance and safety for their vehicle.”
By law, tires need to be replaced when only 1/16” on their tread is remaining. Because vehicle inspections in Utah are generally only required every two years, Burt Brothers encourages drivers to perform the at-home “penny test” to determine the state of their tires. Drivers should find the thickest part of the tread in the center of the tire, and place a penny in it upside down, so Lincoln’s head is facing outward. If drivers are able to see the top of Lincoln’s head above the remaining head, tires should be replaced. However, regardless of use, all tires should be replaced at least every 6 years, with the maximum life being 10 years.
Burt Brothers is a family-owned business that has been operating in the Wasatch Front area for more than 20 years. They carry a full line of the most well-known brands in the industry, always at the most competitive prices. They are committed providing top-notch customer service and giving back to the local community.
