MOB Advocacy Puts Client’s Interests in Front of Nation’s Governors
Washington, D.C. (PRWEB) February 21, 2014 -- Michael O’Brien, principal of MOB Advocacy, a state and local government relations firm based in Fairfax, Virginia, will represent the firm’s clients at the National Governors Association’s (NGA) Annual Winter Meeting. The meeting takes place February 21-24, 2013 in Washington, D.C.
MOB Advocacy participates in the NGA meeting to bring its small business, start-up and non-profit clients into the same room with top policy makers and corporate leaders to talk about key issues states face, such as education, healthcare, the environment and veteran’s issues. “I started this firm, because I saw a lack of small business and start-ups represented at the NGA and other similar meetings,” said Michael. “MOB Advocacy is changing that by bringing startup and small business voices to these important meetings,” he added.
At the meeting, MOB Advocacy will meet with governors and their staff to discuss how its clients are bringing innovative solutions to state and local challenges. “MOB Advocacy's clients are doing great things with education technology, solving transportation issues, fighting Medicaid fraud, solving the tough problems that states are facing. Governors need to hear these small business and startup success stories,” said Michael. “We make sure our client’s stories are heard, they get the support they need and the recognition they deserve,” he added.
In addition to the NGA meeting, Michael will participate in both political and regional ancillary meetings including: the Democratic and Republican Governors Associations, the Southern Governors Association and the National Sportsmen’s Foundation’s Governors Caucus.
