The Recovery Village's Sandee Nebel to Facilitate Yoga Sessions at IAEDP Symposium
Orlando, FL (PRWEB) February 24, 2014 -- The Recovery Village is pleased to announce that its Yoga Therapy Program Specialist, Sandee Nebel, will lead the morning yoga sessions at the upcoming International Association for Eating Disorders Professionals (IAEDP) Symposium. The conference will take place February 27 – March 2, 2014, and will be held at TradeWinds Island Resort, St. Petersburg, FL.
The annual conference brings together physicians, psychologists, therapists, dietitians, nurses, counselors, and other healthcare professionals to network, learn, and relax. The theme for this year's symposium is Waves of Change, and attendees will participate in various lectures that focus on the treatment of eating disorders.
This year, Sandee Nebel will lead conference attendees in morning yoga sessions on the beach, held every day of the conference from 7 to 8 am. Yoga participants will have the opportunity to relax, release, and renew themselves, and prepare for the day of learning ahead of them. Organizers of the conference say they want to create an experience that nurtures and refreshes health care professionals, as well as allowing them to learn and grow professionally. Beginning each day with yoga is one way IAEDP is promoting self-renewal for its attendees.

I'm so happy to have the opportunity to lead yoga for a group of treatment professionals, so they can pass on its benefits to their clients.”
The Recovery Village is proud to sponsor the yoga sessions at the conference. The treatment center will provide yoga mats for each of the attendees. Mitch Baumann of The Recovery Village knows the value of yoga therapy. "Yoga is a type of therapy that we use at The Recovery Village and have experienced great results with it. The strengthening of the mind and body are necessary in recovery, and Sandee facilitates a very positive program for our clients. We are happy she will get to demonstrate yoga therapy for other professionals at the conference."
