BRC Global Standards Launches New Whistleblower Service

BRC Global Standards’ new whistleblower hotline, TELL BRC, is an easy-to-use, confidential service for users to report suspected wrongdoing.

The service has been developed with the whistleblower in mind, to encourage them to come forward.

BRC Global Standards is pleased to announce a new, 24/7 telephone hotline, TELL BRC, a confidential reporting service that employees, suppliers, clients and other stakeholders can use to report concerns they may have about wrongdoing in a manufacturing site.

The service is provided in three languages: English, Spanish and Mandarin.

TELL BRC makes it easy to report suspicions of wrongdoing. The global service:

  • Is confidential, easy to use and anonymous.
  • Ensures that all incidents are investigated and resolved in a timely, effective and efficient fashion by BRC Global Standards’ compliance department.
  • Can track an incident from report to closure.

“We are launching this service to open a confidential communication channel between individuals who work in the retail supply chain and the BRC, to allow them to inform us if they experience wrongdoing at a BRC-certified site,” notes Mark Proctor, CEO of BRC Global Standards. “The service has been developed with the whistleblower in mind, to encourage them to come forward.”
