EnerTrac and the Federal Communications Commission Enter into Consent Decree
(PRWEB) February 25, 2014 -- EnerTrac, Inc. is pleased to announce that the Company and the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) have worked together to resolve a year-long inquiry into the use of EnerTrac’s Part 15 certification and to adopt a favorable consent decree to conclude the review. EnerTrac will phase out installations of its Part 15 eSensor by 12/31/2017 and replace these with the newer EnerTrac Part 90 certified eSensor product.
This agreement allows EnerTrac’s customers to continue achieving the industry-changing cost savings with the original eSensor tank automation product through their initial warranty period at which time the Company will be able to offer the newer generation eSensor product at a greatly reduced trade-in price.
George Dannecker, CEO and President has stated, “We have been shipping a newly-developed Part 90 eSensor for almost a year. We have installed thousands of the new eSensor and our customers have been delighted with its performance.”
EnerTrac, Inc. provides low-cost/low-bandwidth Machine to Machine (M2M) data communication solutions for industries that to date have been priced out of achieving the operational benefits of real-time remote data collection.
