Northwest suburban printer Plum Grove announced today record sales and growth in fiscal year 2013. The firm grossed $4.5 million in sales, the highest in 33 years in business providing printing and marketing products to Chicagoland and nationwide.
Plum Grove's 2013 gross sales show dramatic growth – 36% growth for the year, or over a million dollars in sales growth. This expansion comes after over 27% growth in fiscal year 2012.
Fueling this growth is Plum Grove's most successful product: full service direct mail marketing. The firm provides marketing consultation, art design, printing, and mailing for a number of corporate clients. The mailers help clients grow their businesses with targeted advertisements and offers that have a high response rate and return on investment.
In 2013, Plum Grove expanded their promotional product offerings and added signage and tradeshow graphic printing to their service offerings.
Direct mail has been around for a long time but has been overshadowed in recent years by the rise of digital advertising. Plum Grove founder Peter Lineal said his clients still find direct mail an effective way to communicate, especially with baby boomers and senior citizens.
