Chicken Salad Chick, the nation’s newest, fast-casual restaurant concept, is scheduled to open its new franchise location in Panama City Beach on March 4, 2014. The new restaurant will be located in Pier Park at 100 Bluefish Drive Suite 103, Panama City Beach, FL 32413.
“We are so excited to expand in Florida and join the Pier Park community,” said Kevin Brown, president of Chicken Salad Chick. “It has been such a blessing to have franchisees like the Lauderdales join in sharing the Chicken Salad Chick experience with their own communities.”
The Panama City Beach restaurant is owned by franchisees Thomas and Stephanie Lauderdale. “I fell in love with Chicken Salad Chick over two years ago and couldn't wait to share it with everyone I knew,” said owner Stephanie. “We are so excited to give back to this community by bringing the people of Panama City Beach and Pier Park this simple, yet superb experience! We can't wait to get to know everyone who comes through our doors!”
Born In Alabama -- The Chicken Salad Chick concept was established in Auburn, Ala., in 2008 in the kitchen of founder, Stacy Brown. Stacy quickly learned that selling a homemade recipe from her kitchen is against the law, and after being shut down by the health department, she decided to solicit the business expertise of her future husband and fellow founder, Kevin Brown. Together, they opened a small takeout restaurant which quickly grew to enormous demand and additional locations. The unique concept offers customers a “custom-fit” chicken salad experience, with 15 original flavors to choose from, as well as gourmet soups, flavorful side salads and freshly-baked desserts. Chicken Salad Chick will be developing 85 franchises across the states of Alabama, Georgia, Florida, Tennessee, and North Carolina and South Carolina, and has plans to expand nationally in the next few years.
