Atlanta, GA (PRWEB) February 26, 2014 -- On December 11, 2013, the Law Offices of Minsk & Associates, LLC. filed an amended class action complaint entitled Sametha Glen, Sidney Davis and Jazzman Espinosa on behalf of themselves and all persons similarly situated v. Terri Galardi, Galardi South Enterprises, Inc.; Galardi South Enterprises Consulting, Inc., Fly Low, Inc., d/b/a the King Of Diamonds, Pony Tail, Inc. d//b/a Onyx, and Michael Kapp, Northern District of Georgia (Case No. # 1:13-cv-3760-WBH).
The potential Class consists of exotic dancers who worked at Pink Pony, Onyx, and King of Diamonds, located in Miami, within the last 3 years. The Complaint alleges that the Defendants improperly classified exotic dancers as independent contractors rather than employees entitled to minimum and overtime wages pursuant to the Fair Labor Standards Act and also improperly forced Plaintiffs to pay to go to work. The complaint seeks minimum wage and overtimes wages for the last 3 years and also restitution for all monies paid by the Plaintiffs in the form of fees and fines for the last three years.
